So its Friday tomorrow and here is my top favourite items that I WANT NEED AND ARE LUSTING after this week.

We will try to keep it as affordable as possible but the odd lust piece may slip in there - yes I know I cannot afford Anya Hindmarch but a girl can dream right!?

This week we are loving neutrals, a simple black pinafore and a cute tee makes for a perfect mix of smart and casual. I have been wanting a Co-Ord for agessssss, and I have found the perfect piece that will see me through the autumn and will be perfect with this cute beanie hat from Monki. Festival season is still in full swing and these pieces will be perfect for anyone planning on sloshing around in the mud!

I am hoping to talk a lot more about my disability in further posts, first I'm going to start with my condition - Hemiplegia. Many people are probably unaware of this and what it entails. I was born premature and almost died, I had to have open heart surgery to keep me alive. Hemiplegia is a condition that affects half of your body and is caused by parts of the brain being damaged. The most obvious effects of my condition is my foot, I limp and throughout childhood had to wear a splint and specialised footwear. I want to raise awareness of my condition, growing up was hard and I always stood out. I could never wear the latest fashions like my sister i.e flimsy footwear such as flip flops were a big no no! Another day another outfit! My sister picked out this skirt for me the other day and told me I had to buy it! It's from Topshop (surprise) and I love it! The material is stretchy and fits so nicely. I decide to pair it with a leather jacket and my trusty Docs.  Lauren x

EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL

It's that time of the year again, festivals are in full motion. One of my favourites (mainly because I've been performing in it for the past two years) is the Edinburgh Fringe. An explosive delight of arts from theatre to music to comedy. Edinburgh is a fantastic city and comes alive at this time of the year with an eclectic mix of acts.
