ROUGE

I'm starting my rehearsals tomorrow for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and I'm very excited. This is a quick snap from last night where we were celebrating my mum's 60th!



The dress is from COW Vintage Store (one of my favourite shops). I decided to pair the dress with my creepers which I use to wear with everything!  I also came across my fish net tights which I think compliment the whole outfit.



 I couldn't decide whether it was hot or cold yesterday so I took my denim shirt just in case. The shirt is from Topshop which I purchased a few years ago. My fringe is also way too long and needs a cut.



I love to accessorise with rings and this is my double ring that I got for my 18th birthday and its from House of Fraser.

I am hoping to talk a lot more about my disability in further posts, first I'm going to start with my condition - Hemiplegia. Many people are probably unaware of this and what it entails. I was born premature and almost died, I had to have open heart surgery to keep me alive. Hemiplegia is a condition that affects half of your body and is caused by parts of the brain being damaged. The most obvious effects of my condition is my foot, I limp and throughout childhood had to wear a splint and specialised footwear. I want to raise awareness of my condition, growing up was hard and I always stood out. I could never wear the latest fashions like my sister i.e flimsy footwear such as flip flops were a big no no! STRIPES AND BOOTS

Another day another outfit! My sister picked out this skirt for me the other day and told me I had to buy it! It's from Topshop (surprise) and I love it! The material is stretchy and fits so nicely. I decide to pair it with a leather jacket and my trusty Docs.  Lauren x

EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL

It's that time of the year again, festivals are in full motion. One of my favourites (mainly because I've been performing in it for the past two years) is the Edinburgh Fringe. An explosive delight of arts from theatre to music to comedy. Edinburgh is a fantastic city and comes alive at this time of the year with an eclectic mix of acts.
