Fashion is a Fanfare

So its November already! How time flies. I've been up to my knees in uni work and applying for jobs at the moment so have been mega busy. Thought I would post this outfit from a while ago, I went for a 'rocker' vibe - the shirt is vintage, I borrowed it from my mum! I like the interesting collar detailing and I wanted to mix up the femininity of the frill with my Doc Martens and a Banksy tee (for a touch of rebel ;) ). I think it works quite well! I love making unexpected choices and mixing them together to see the results... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't! But I guess that's the fun of fashion.... Its a bit of a Topshop post with a splash of Primark. The blazer and dress are Topshop and the light pink belt is Primark. I actually got the blazer for formal interviews/presentations that I have at uni.  I decided to get an neutral piece so I can mix &match it with colour items. This means I am able to dress it down with a look like this. Or wear a colourful piece if I feel like standing out!  Lauren x

The weather is definitely getting a lot colder that's why I invested in this amazing cardigan. Its Vintage and from Smooch a shop in Sheffield that has taken me far too long to find. I'm wearing a black jumpsuit and white t-shirt from Topshop. I've been told I look like a parrot in it but I still LOVE it! A short post today. I recently moved into a new house and have internet... finally. I am in a very comfortable outfit here -  my hair is a mess! The jumpsuit is River Island- which I bought a couple of summers ago. The top is H&M and the denim t-shirt and bag are Topshop... of course!! Paired with my black docs. This is just a really comfy look on a really cold day. The photos aren't the best but you get the idea of what I'm wearing. The jacket I got for one of my birthdays a few years ago and leggings -both Topshop. The jumper I recieved for Christmas off my sister and I got her a Sheffield Hallam hoodie.   Lauren x

I've just been super busy lately and therefore I haven't posted in a while. My outfit is a really comfy one. The trousers are F&F, the top Topshop and the blazer is Primark- a cheap one.   I've managed to land myself a part time job, just before returning to uni, at the post office. I'm excited to return to uni because I've just spent too much time at home. Does anyone else think we get ridiculously long holidays? (and get bored at home!) Its my second year so I'll living in a small student house- which is also very exciting. Its small and cosy and I just love it! Lauren x

I'm not initially sure how I feel about these pictures- they are slightly yellow- but this is an outfit I wore a couple of days ago. A maxi skirt and a top- simple! The top is a printed t-shirt- one of my only ones from Zara. The leather jacket and the bag is COW Vintage. My colourful bag (LOVE IT) is also Vintage and from COW.  If you look closely at this picture you can see my left foot slightly rolls inwards. This is my main problem with footwear and this is generally why I wear my Docs all the time. I was not doing much walking on this particular day so I braved these flat shoes from Tesco.
